NEW K-TV VIDEO! Grand Opening of Jack's IGA Beattyville, KY

Posted 07-19-10 - Jack's IGA in Beattyville, KY reopens after a 2009 fire totally destroyed this community grocery store.

Jack's IGA, now known as "My IGA", has re-opened after nearly a year of building a brand new supermarket for the Beattyville community.

The videos below help tell the story of how a family business has risen from the ashes to continue serving the Beattyville area. Included is a special video about the Gross Family Bell that not only survived the fire, but now rings out loud and clear demonstrating how hopes and dreams overcome tragedy.
